The Evangelical Lutheran Synod’s Ottesen Museum collects, preserves, and displays artifacts connected with the history of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS) and its predecessor body, the Synod for the Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (Norwegian Synod).
The Ottesen Museum is located at 4 Browns Court, Mankato, Minnesota. The museum’s hours are 1:30pm – 4:30pm, Tuesday through Thursday. Donation of artifacts is by appointment only. Click here to contact us.
