The Ottesen Museum’s Christmas Open House is scheduled for Tuesday, December 8, 2026, from 2:30 to 5:30 pm. This year’s theme is “From Bethany LADIES College to Bethany LUTHERAN College, Part 1: 1911-1926”. We will be exploring Bethany from its very early days up to its sale to the Synod for the Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (now the ELS) in anticipation of the 100th anniversary in 2027. A short program will include some hymn singing and there will also be Christmas treats.
The theme for the 2027 is tentatively, “From Bethany LADIES College to Bethany LUTHERAN College, Part 2: 1927 to the Present”. The exact date will be announced mid June of 2027.
