Come down, O Love divine;
Seek Thou this soul of mine,
And visit it with Thine own ardor glowing;
O Comforter, draw near,
Within my heart appear,
And kindle it, Thy holy flame bestowing.

To dust and ashes in its heat consuming;

Prayer
O Holy Spirit, You began a good work in me when You created my faith. Continue to nurture and build that faith through Word and Sacrament until my life ends or my Savior, Jesus Christ returns. In His name I pray. Amen.
