Another note about the elephant-headed Hindu deity, Ganesh, who is thought to muscle obstacles from the path of the faithful. At the conclusion of a festival honoring Ganesh, small idols are immersed in rivers. Too many have slipped through wet fingers into the waters, causing a pollution problem. The solution? Now one can buy a bio-degradable idol. Of course, Ganesh, like all idols, has always been bio-degradable and will be shown to be so on Judgment Day. Jesus said… I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. (John 14:6)
