This day at Thy creating Word
First o’er the earth the light was poured:
O Lord, this day upon us shine
And fill our souls with light divine.
All praise to God the Father be,
All praise, eternal Son, to Thee,

Prayer
Heavenly Father, through Your powerful Word You created all that exists. Through that same Word, forgive my sins and strengthen my faith in Christ alone as my Savior. In His name I pray. Amen.
