Bible Reading
He said, “The kingdom of God is like this: A man scatters seed on the ground, and while he sleeps and rises, night and day, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. The ground produces fruit on its own: first the blade, then the head, then the full grain in the head. When the crop is ready, he swings the sickle without delay, because the harvest has come.” (Mark 4:26-29 EHV)

Almighty God, Thy Word is cast
Like seed into the ground;
Now let the dew of heav’n descend

Let not the foe of Christ and man

Prayer
Heavenly Father, let Your Word be scattered throughout the world. Bring many to faith and help them to grow into a strong and healthy Church where Your Word is preached in all its truth and purity. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
