Light for My Path Daily Devotion

Bible Reading

Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary. Praise him in the expanse that shows his might. Praise him for his acts of power. Praise him according to his abundant greatness. Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn. Praise him with the harp and the lyre. Praise him with hand drums and dancing. Praise him with the strings and the flute. Praise him with the sounding cymbals. Praise him with loud cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. (Psalm 150 EHV)

Hymn  ELH 65:1,5  Praise to the Lord, the Almighty

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!
O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy Health and Salvation!
Join the full throng; Wake, harp and psalter and song;
Sound forth in glad adoration!

Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in me adore Him!
All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before him!
Let the Amen Sound from His people again;
Gladly for aye we adore Him.

Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, creator of all things, thank You for the daily care You lavish on me and all people. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
