Light for My Path Daily Devotion

Bible Reading

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, Thus you shall bless the people of Israel: you shall say to them, The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.” (Numbers 6:22-26 ESV)

Hymn   ELH 37:1-3   We All Believe in One True God

We all believe in one true God,
Father, Son, and Holy Ghost,
Ever-present Help in need,
Praised by all the heav’nly host,
By whose mighty pow’r alone
All is made and wrought and done.

We all believe in Jesus Christ,
Son of God and Mary’s Son,
Who descended from His throne
And for us salvation won,
By whose cross and death are we
Rescued from all misery.

We all confess the Holy Ghost,
Who from both fore’er proceeds,
Who upholds and comforts us
In all trials, fears, and needs.
Blest and Holy Trinity,
Praise forever be to Thee!

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank you for providing all I need for this life. Jesus, my Savior, thank you for saving me from all my sins.  O Holy Spirit, thank you for creating and sustaining faith in my heart.  O God, in Your mercy, continue to be with me and strengthen me all my days.  Amen.
