Prayer for Bethany Lutheran College

Lord God, our Heavenly Father,

We thank You for the start of another academic year at our Bethany Lutheran College. In a time of an enhanced fear of death in our country, You have given us the joyful privilege of proclaiming the wonderful knowledge of eternal life through faith in Your Son. Keep our college faithful to Your Word of truth, that the One Thing Needful may continue to be proclaimed on our campus, especially to those who learn of Christ for the first time. May Your hand of blessing rest upon our Bethany faculty, staff, administration and especially our students, preserving them from harm according to Your will.

We also thank You for stirring up the hearts of Your faithful people to support the work of this institution by their prayers and gifts. According to Your will, grant our students an increase of knowledge in both spiritual and earthly wisdom that they may live to serve You and their fellowman. We ask this all in our Lord’s saving name.  Amen.
