Our Work in Ukraine
The mission agency Thoughts of Faith was instrumental in reintroducing Christianity to eastern Europe. Through the efforts of Thoughts of Faith missionaries in Ukraine in the 1990s, the Ukrainian Lutheran Church – which was destroyed at the institutional level by the Communists in the 1940s – was reorganized on the territory of a free Ukraine.
Gift of Life is a humanitarian mission in support of Gospel outreach working in partnership with the congregations of the Ukrainian Lutheran Church. It’s Medical Clinics on Wheels have administered dental and medical care to thousands of children in under-served territory of Ukraine. In addition, its four pro-life counseling centers have saved many babies from abortion.
