Cross-stitch is YOU! It’s the members of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod being “stitched together” to support unbudgeted Home and Foreign Mission projects.
1. How does Cross-stitch work?
Mission congregations, missionaries and the Board for Home and the Board for World Outreach contact the Cross-stitch Committee with suggestions and requests. The committee considers the needs and requests of these projects, selects a broad range of home and foreign projects to sponsor and sets a monetary goal for the year.
2. Cross-stitch project updates
An update is sent out to all the churches just prior to your circuit’s Women’s Mission Rally. Rev. Steve Petersen and Rev. Paul Fries, visit many of the fall and winter Ladies Mission Rallies to further explain and update what is happening in the mission fields.
3. How can I help?
Your prayers are always encouraged and welcome. If you would like to make a donation, you can send them to:
